Benefits of hydroculture

Benefits of hydroculture

Yes, hydroplants are a bit more expensive than ground plants when you buy them, but that difference you earn back with maintenance. Maintenance costs are low and our hydroplants are strong: they have a long service life.

And so there are several advantages that compensate the price.

You save twice on maintenance costs

A hydroculture plant only needs water once every four weeks. That means that only twelve times a year someone has to come along to maintain the plants in the workplace. With plants on earth culture (potting soil) that is an average of twenty-five times.

Super healthy, beautiful plants
The plant food is adjusted in such a way that the plant stays nice and healthy for a long time.Adjustment is always possible.

Water meter

The granules store water and gradually release it to the roots. You can read how much the plant uses exactly on the water meter.

Very healthy because of the extra oxygen
Hydroplants extract extra CO2 from the air through the roots between the clay granules. That is good news for everyone: the plant thrives well, the human being too. Humans exhale CO2, the plant gets it out of the air and releases it as oxygen. Circular economy, remember? The oxygen supply for office workers is optimal with plants.

No more new planters needed
A soil plant that does well needs an ever larger planter. The hydroculture plant does not. We provide stabilization nutrition that keeps the plant nice and healthy, but does not grow extremely. You do not always have to purchase new pots.

No stress

No stress for your plant

Every plant must be transplanted once in a while and that means plant stress. Because during the transplant many hair roots are lost. The plant can therefore have difficulty with its metabolism, resulting in death.

Potting soil collapses, clay granules do not

As soon as the soil in which the plant stands collapses, a new top layer is needed. With hydroponics, this is not necessary, clay granules do not sink.

No acidification

Finally, clay granules can not be acidified, earth can. Acidification is bad for the plant, it can even die.
